Fruits of the Year of Jubilee

In this year of Jubilee our Congregation was blessed by three sisters who made their Perpetual Profession on Oct 12. They were Srs. Emiliana Mshana, Antonia Msoffe and Fides Kimario.

A full year of intensive preparation culminated in a two week’s programme online, with input from several Holy Union sisters.

For the past two years, the preparation was done in Tanzania and our Came-roonian sisters came to join us. This year due to the preparation of our General Chapter it had to be done differently. So instead of coming together and sharing our input, we had the course online. The Internet Connection was good and everything worked out nicely. Sharing with our Cameroonian Sisters, even though at a distance was a good experience for us and it has strengthened our bonds with them.

Our big day was wonderful. The celebration was held in St Anthony’s parish in Zachem and Sr Annemarie received our vows, representing the General Council. After the beautiful ceremonies we had a festive gathering in the Parish Hall with our families and friends.
